Police: Pair Accused Of Stealing SUV

An SUV officers pulled over after a stop-sign violation Saturday afternoon turned out to be a stolen vehicle, police said.

An officer stopped a blue 1998 Ford Expedition for a stop sign violation in the 8300 block of Wells Road and later determined that the Expedition had been reported stolen on Thursday, police said.

Police said 33-year-old Mario Reynoso, who was driving, and 30-year-old Angela Viscaino, the passenger, took the vehicle from the owner. The Auto Theft Task Force assisted with the investigation.

Reynoso, of the 8600 block of Pedernales Drive, ans Viscaino, of the 9800 block of Alameda, were arrested on suspicion of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

Both were booked into the El Paso County Jail.
