Sun City Music Festival: Line-up, Where To Buy Tickets

Music fans have a lot to look forward to this upcoming Labor Day weekend. SMG Events, a group of El Paso promoters, is putting on a huge two-day festival featuring 30 acts at Cohen Stadium.

Organizers are announcing the line-up little by little to build anticipation before the big event. Here’s a list of confirmed acts:

ARMIN VAN BUUREN, ANDY C, Wolfgang Gartner, SHOWTEK, Cookie Monsta, Sander Van Doorn, Martin Solvieg, Markus Schulz, Chris Lake, FUNKAGENDA, Gabriel & Dresden and Paul Van Dyk.

Tickets are $35 dollars for one day or $60 for both Saturday and Sunday.

“For the first time in history, El Paso will host a large scale music festival boasting over 30 of the world?s most famous electronic music artist on three stages Labor Day weekend. The dates for the massive 2 day festival are set for September 3rd and 4th and will be at Cohen Stadium in northeast El Paso. SMG events is well known around the region for putting on large scale events that draw crowds in the thousands and now for bringing a festival the likes of which has never been seen before in the southwest region. In honor of El Paso?s nickname, the event has been dubbed Sun City Music Festival. The lineup for SCMF will be released in phases every week. One of the performers that has already been announced is Armin Van Buuren, who?s been voted the #1 DJ in the world for the past 4 years by music publications and websites from all over the world. Another attraction will be the Day Glow tent, which is a touring show that boasts being the ?World?s Largest Paint Party?.

SMG Events is well known regionally for brining the top electronic music artists in the world to El Paso on a regular basis, selling out local venues at most of their events. In May SMG Events hosted the Tiesto Live at the Cohen Stadium, which drew a crowd of nearly 10,000 fans. SMG Events is well known for the huge turnouts at their events, which can only mean one thing for Sun City Music Festival and the city of El Paso; success. Local El Paso establishments can expect a great opportunity to market their businesses to festival attendees traveling from all over the southwest and the entire country to attend this event. SMG will also expand their marketing efforts in large cities within driving distance such as Albuquerque, Austin, San Antonio, Phoenix, Chihuahua and others in order to draw in tourists to El Paso and ensure the success of SCMF.”
