Fort Bliss’ Gate To Remain Closed After Storm Topples Canopy
The Global Reach gate at Fort Bliss will remain closed as the post replaces a canopy that was destroyed by strong winds Tuesday night.
Post officials said the canopy at the Global Reach gate was blown over by up to 80 mph winds. No one was hurt, but officials say part of the First Calvary gate was also damaged.
The gate will remain closed until the canopy is repaired.
