Woman Asleep In Living Room When SUV Crashes In
Police said a woman was asleep in her living room when an SUV plowed inside the room about 2 a.m. Sunday on the 5000 block of Catskill Avenue in Northeast El Paso.
Police said 23-year-old Pedro Garcia was driving a 1998 Ford Expedition when he lost control and crashed into a rock wall first, then into the home. A woman was sleeping inside the living room but was not injured.
Garcia was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, criminal mischief. He also had several outstanding warrants, police said. Garcia was booked into the El Paso County Jail, with bond set at $5,332.
