El Paso Times Editor Resigns
El Paso Times Editor Chris V. Lopez announced his resignation to employees Tuesday afternoon.
An editor in the newsroom referred ABC-7 to a story posted on the newspaper’s website at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
According to the article, Lopez said he will end his newspaper career and start a second career at the end of September.
The 50-year-old Lopez told the staff, “I want you guys to know this is a very personal decision for me to hang up my newspaper career. I am intent on building a second career.”
