Manhunt Monday 08/15/11: Vicente Aguilera

This week?s MANHUNT MONDAY Most Wanted Fugitive is an individual sought for leading Law Enforcement on a vehicle pursuit. The target is identified as VICENTE AGUILERA (28) of EL Paso, TX.

MAY 2011: On Friday May 27, 2011, at about 10:30pm Officers from the El Paso Police Department attempted to stop a Blue Chevrolet Silverado (Pickup Truck) bearing Arizona Plates traveling at a high rate of speed / swerving in and out of traffic & crossing onto the west bound lanes (against traffic) of Alameda Ave. in the Lower Valley.

At one point, the male driver lost control of the truck at the intersection of Alameda and Coronado, where he collided into a stop sign knocking it down. The driver proceeded back onto Alameda and continued to travel west at a high rate of speed. The driver continued thru a 7-11 parking lot almost striking several pedestrians.

After an intense foot chase, the driver was captured & arrested by EPPD Officers ? he was identified as VICENTE AGUILERA .

As of June 2011 ? AGUILERA has since failed to show for court. County Court No. 7 has issued a warrant of arrest for him for the offense of EVADING ARREST / DETENTION. AGUILERA also has an outstanding criminal warrant for POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA for an unrelated 2010 case.

VICENTE AGUILERA knows he is wanted & continues to elude capture. He is believed to remain in the Borderland area where he has several friends & relatives.

In the past, AGUILERA has stated his dislike for Law Enforcement – threatening officers who come into contact with him.
