3 Men Arrested In Brawl At Northeast House Party
Police arrested three men in connection with a house party brawl that ended with a man being hit in the face with a brick and shots fired.
The incident, which is still under investigation by the El Paso Police Department’s Crimes Against Persons gang unit, occurred early Saturday on the 8700 block of Norton Street, in Northeast El Paso’s Angel’s Triangle neighborhood.
The three men were arrested on suspicion of engaging in organized criminal activity and aggravated assault. They are: 25-year-old Esmond Braswell, of the 8700 block of Norton; 19-year-old Angel Velasquez, of the 4700 block Atlas Avenue; and 18-year-old Ray Urbina, of the 7500 block of Claire Place. All three were booked into the El Paso County Jail.
Police said Braswell brandished a handgun and fired it at two men, but that no one was shot. His bond was set at $75,520. Bonds were set at $75,000 for Velasquez and $86,300 for Urbina. Investigators did not say who was responsible for striking a 24-year-old man in the face with a brick.
Police did not release mugshots due to the ongoing investigation.
