El Paso Police and military police are investigating a shooting that left a Fort Bliss soldier in the hospital.

He said the soldier arrived at a Fort Bliss gate with a gunshot wound to the leg at around 6:30 p.m. and was taken to William Beaumont Army Medical Center. EPPD officers and military police were at the hospital conducting their investigation Wednesday evening, he said.
