Police Search For 3 Men Tied To Horizon Roofing Scam

Horizon city police said they are looking for three men in connection to a Horizon City roofing scam.

Police said Ricardo and Joshua Coria and Tito Diaz posed as agents of Sinatra’s Roofing Company.

Those who were approached by the men said they had all their paperwork in order, but when the time came for repairs to be done, the company was nowhere in sight.

ABC-7 went to the address listed on the business receipts provided by the alleged victim, but found no roofing business.

Instead, at the address, there was another design business with an owner who knew the story of Sinatra’s Roofing Company because other alleged victims had approached him, as well.

The other business owner didn’t want to talk about the situation, but said he was afraid the scam would tarnish his businesses name.

One of the victims, Efren Torres, told ABC-7 that he hopes other people won’t make the same mistake he did.

“To be cautious, not to believe anybody or any other roofers that come around to offer their services,” said Torres.

Horizon City police are asking anyone with information about the men to call them at 915-852-1047.
