Early Morning Wreck Seriously Injures Motorcyclist

A motorcyclist is fighting for his life after a wreck in east El Paso early Sunday morning, according to the El Paso Police Department.

The crash occurred at 8200 Montana Avenue just after 1 a.m.

Police said the motorcycle driver, 23-year-old Joshua Price, was driving east on Montana Avenue at a high rate of speed when he hit a gray Jeep driven by 55-year-old Ismael Gonzalez.

Price was thrown from the motorcycle and sustained life-threatening injuries, and was sent to Del Sol Medical Center.

Special Traffic Investigators were called to the scene, but no charges have been filed at this time. The investigation continues.
