ABC-7 Forecast for Friday November 11, 2011 AM

Increasing clouds will keep temperatures mild today and for the weekend. However, the clouds will be countered by southwesterly winds from northern Mexico. These winds will warm up the Borderland to seasonal daytime highs beginning tomorrow and Sunday.

On this Veteran’s Day, expect mostly cloudy skies with a high of 63.

The clouds are leading up to our next possible weather maker. This system, which is currently off the California coastline, will approach the Borderland late Sunday and early Monday.

Rain chances will pick up Monday and Tuesday along with the winds.

It appears that this storm will move further south than previously thought, so we’re keeping rain chances to 10% and 20%.
