3 People Killed In Head-on Collision Near Clint
Investigators with Socorro Police say three people were killed in a head-on collision.
It happened on I-10 near the Clint exit at about 10 p.m. Tuesday. According to investigators, the driver of a Chevy Tahoe was driving in the wrong direction for nearly two miles.
He was reportedly going about 70 miles per hour when he crashed head on with a Dodge Charger. The driver of the Tahoe and two women in the Dodge Charger died at the scene.
Police say a 22-year-old man and a 3-year-old child – both passengers in the Charger – were hospitalized with serious injuries.
