Police: Man Charged With DWI After Colliding With 2 Police Cars

A man allegedly crashed into two parked police cars early Saturday morning on El Paso’s west side, and according to the the El Paso Police Department, he’s also being charged with DWI.

The incident happened at the 6700 block of N. Mesa near Coronado High School at 2:40 a.m.

Police have charged 32-year-old Marco Antonio Medina with DWI after police said he collided with two police cars that were blocking the center lane of Mesa Street. Medina’s vehicle hit one of the police cars, which then hit another police car, according to police.

Police said they found that Medina was intoxicated and arrested him for DWI.

Medina was booked into the El Paso County Jail for DWI and his bond was set at $1,000.
