StormTRACK Weather First Alert: High Wind and Blowing Dust

The ABC-7 StormTRACK Weather Team has issued a First Alert for high wind and blowing dust and sand on Sunday.

Sunday will be cooler and windier. Highs will reach 75 degrees and gusts will reach 55mph. Expect blowing dust and sand. There will also be a 20% chance for showers starting in the late afternoon hours, carrying over into Monday morning.

The cool down and wind continues into Monday with highs reaching only 54 degrees on Monday and gusts to about 45mph. There will still be a 10% chance for showers on Monday afternoon. The system begins to move out on Tuesday, but temps will still be cool.

Highs will reach 55 and gusts will reach about 35mph. Things start to warm up by Wednesday as we expect clear skies, a high of 63 and calm conditions. The warm-up continues with highs in the mid 70’s by Thursday and low 80’s by Friday. The start to next weekend will be breezy and warm as highs remain in the low 80’s.
