Police Identify The Driver Killed In Single Vehicle Crash

Police confirmed 20-year old Taylor Mobley died in a single vehicle wreck in northeast El Paso.

According to El Paso police public information officer Darrel Petry, Mobley was driving his Isuzu rodeo south, past the 11,000 block of Babe Ruth around 4 a-m Sunday, when Mobley crossed into the north bound lanes and hit a tree.

Investigators said Mobley was partially ejected as the car flipped on its roof but no one else was inside the vehicle.

According to police, alcohol is believed to have been a contributing factor as well as failure to wear a seat belt in this crash.

This is the 23rd traffic fatality of 2012 compared to 29th at this same time 2011.
