UPDATE: 3 arrested in east El Paso stabbing

Three men were arrested and charged in connection with the Wednesday morning assault in East El Paso. Police say Francisco Banda, 34, Mario Gonsalez, 24, and Jesus Contreras, 33, are charged with E.I.O.C.A. – Aggravated Assault. Police say Banda and Gonsalez were additionally charged with posession of controlled substance over 4 grams and under 200 grams.
HISTORY:
Three men were sent to the hospital early Wednesday morning after a stabbing in an east El Paso neighborhood, but police say the victims are no cooperating in the investigation.
The incident happened on the 11800 block of Imperial Gem just after midnight. Police say they found two men who were injured in a fight. A short while later, a witness told police that two other men possible involved in the fight were trying to break into a nearby home.
After a search of the area, police say they found the two other men. One of those men was reportedly stabbed in the neck. Two men were stabbed in total, but it is unclear how the other two men were injured.
Police say the victims are not cooperating and do not wish to press charges. All the victims are expected to survive.
