Truck smashes into a boat after crashing through East El Paso yard
Two young men have been arrested after police say the pickup truck they were riding in crashed through a front lawn and into boat in East El Paso.
The incident happened just after 1:30 Tuesday morning on the 11,000 block of Dick Mayers Drive. The truck first crashed through a short rock wall, before hitting a car and finally a boat. The truck stopped just a few feet away from a home.
Police say the driver was intoxicated and the passenger was wanted on outstanding warrants. The truck had Arizona plates and did not belong to the driver.
A family member from the home tells us this is the 5th or 6th time someone has crashed into their yard.
