StormTrack Weather First Alert issued for today due to strong winds

A StormTRACK Weather First Alert is in effect for todaydue to strong winds in the area.

Peak wind gusts recorded at the airport mid-afternoon so far at 39 mph.

Cold front has yet to move through the area. It will this evening and will briefly kick the winds up. Cooler temps tomorrow and Saturday behind the front in the mid and upper 70s.
