Rocks thrown, shots fired leads to two arrests

Two men were arrested after an overnight incident in far east El Paso.

According to police, two men threw rocks at a home on Oxhart Street.

The homeowner, according to investigators, followed the two men back to their homes, until he was spotted near Kingdom Street. One of the men who had been throwing rocks pulled out a gun and fired a shot at the homeowner.

The homeowner wasn’t hit by a bullet, but debris from a ricocheted bullet injured the man.

Police tell ABC-7 that the man suffered a non-life-threatening injury. He was taken to Del Sol Medical Center.
