Dozens attend Vote with Texas Women rally in Central El Paso
When it comes to health care, wages, reproductive rights and education — Texas women are the most disparaged group but it doesn’t have to be that way. That was the message behind Friday’s “Vote with Texas Women” rally.
The group Stand with El Paso Women organized the rally which was meant to empower women and their families. It urges women to advocate for change and make their voices heard in next year’s general election.
State senators Jose Rodriguez, Sylvia Garcia and Leticia Van De Putte spoke at the rally.
Van De Putte told ABC-7 the lack of equality calls for voter awareness.
