Parades, parties to celebrate Veterans Day
People celebrated Veterans Day across the borderland. The public holiday is Monday,
Downtown near San Jacinto Plaza, supporters showed up for Veterans of American Wars. Parades took place in Northeast El Paso, San Elizario and Las Cruces.
The Bena Videz-Patterson “All Airborn” paratroopers held an open house at the VWF in Central El Paso.
People were invited to hang out and talk shop with local vets.
