NMSU, city of Las Cruces team up to boost athletics
New Mexico State University and the city of Las Cruces announced a partnership to help promote the university’s athletic programs and get student-athletes involved in the community.
As part of the partnership, events will be held in which the public will get a chance to meet student athletes. The public will also get discounts during home games.
The city of Las Cruces will also promote NMSU athletic events and ticket sales. The partnership comes at a time when attendance at football games historically low.
