Meteorologist Karla Huelga Holds Weather Academy
ABC-7 Meteorologist Karla Huelga visited San Elizario this afternoon to teach elementary school children about the weather. Karla held one of the last round of Weather Academy sessions for the year at L.G. Alarcon Elementary School this afternoon where shetalked toalmost 140 fourth graders about clouds, hurricanes, tornadoes, rain and many more weather topics.The presentation included weather experiments that taught the kids about cold and warm air masses and even how to make a cloud and rain in a jar!
