Shooting investigation in south-central El Paso
A south-central El Paso neighborhood was blocked off for several hours after a shooting on the 500 block of Val Verde Street.
El Paso police officers responded to a residence around midnight.
Emergency dispatch confirmed with ABC-7 one person was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
A woman was questioned outside of a home, handcuffed and put into the back of a police car. It is unclear if the woman is facing any charges.
Officers scoured the scene and collected evidence in brown paper bags.
The scene on Val Verde St. has been cleared up.
