Mid-winter reminder to check your vehicle
If you live in the Borderland, you are likely thankful you aren’t dealing with the frigid temperatures across most of the United States.
El Paso has seen below-freezing weather overnight and in the early morning which serves as a reminder to check your vehicle to make sure it makes it through the rest of the winter.
Below are tips from AAA to keep in mind through out the winter season:
– Warm up vehicle, but not in enclosed are like garage
– Make sure tires are properly inflated
– Keep gas tank at least half full to avoid gas line freeze-up
– Check car battery
– Inspect windshield wipers monthly
– Check antifreeze
