ABC-7 First Alert – Storm chances again later Friday through the holiday weekend.
A storm pounded parts of the West Side and Northeast sides of El Paso on Thursday night. Some areas picked up .75" of rain, causing some street flooding.
Showers and storms will be on the increase for later Friday and through the holiday weekend. Some storms could produce locally heavy rain in spots over the next four days. Along with the storms, gusty winds will be possible with some blowing dust and sand. Temps will be in the 90s the next couple of days and then dip to the mid and upper 80s for Sunday and Monday.
