Silver alert issued for missing elderly man

El Paso Police are asking the public to help find a missing elderly man.

The police department’s Crimes Against Persons unit was notified by relatives that Juan DelaRiva, 70, was missing.

A local Silver Alert was activated.

Investigators say DelaRiva was last seen walking away from the registration area of University Behavioral Health Center in northeast El Paso.

DelaRiva suffers from Dementia and Diabetes and does not have his
medication with him.

He was last seen wearing a grey and brown plaidshirt, white t-shirt, grey and brown docker type pants, grey socks, black shoes, a bluewire around belt buckle, and using one crutch as a cane. He is described as standing5’05” tall and weighing about 137lbs. He has black hair, brown eyes, grey mustacheand beard, and has a mole on the right side of his forehead.

If anyone has seen orknows the whereabouts of DelaRiva they are asked to contact the El Paso PoliceDepartment at915-832-4400.
