Shots fired at Northeast home investigated by police gang unit

The El Paso Police Department’s gang unit is investigating a shots fired call from early Wednesday morning in Northeast El Paso.

Police say that the suspect approached a residence in the 5600 block of Mickey Mantle at 3:02 a.m.

The suspect then allegedly shot several rounds towards the residence, striking the home and a parked vehicle.

The suspect then fled the scene.

If anyone has information regarding the suspect’s identity, they are asked to call El Paso Police at (915) 832-4400 or to remain anonymous call Crime Stoppers at (915) 566-8477.
