Cesar Blanco defeats Norma Chavez in State Rep. District 76 Democratic runoff

Norma Chavez conceded the State Rep. District 76 runoff to Cesar Blanco before election day results were even released.

Blanco got 68 percent of the vote compared to 32 percent for Chavez.

Blanco had 4257 votes to 1996 for Chavez.

In the March primary, incumbent Naomi Gonzalez came in third.

Gonzalez ousted Chavez in 2010. Chavez held the seat for 14 years.

Blanco will face Libertarian Jose Alejandro Lozano in the November general election.
