Five UTEP Football Games Picked Up For TV
FOX Sports announced its college football selections on Thursday, including five UTEP games that will be televised.
The Miners’ home opener versus Texas Tech (Sept. 6) will air at 9 p.m. Mountain time on FOX Sports 1.
UTEP’s Conference USA opener at Louisiana Tech (Oct. 4) will be televised on FOX College Sports at 5 p.m. MT.
During the month of November, FOX networks will carry three UTEP league games. The Southern Miss game on Nov. 1 in the Sun Bowl will air on FOX College Sports at 6 p.m. MT. The home game against North Texas on Nov. 15 is slated for a to-be-announced FOX network at a to-be-determined time. That kickoff time will be set 12 days before the game. The road finale at Rice (Nov. 21) will be televised on FOX Sports 1 at 6 p.m. MT.
More than 50 games involving Conference USA teams will air nationally or regionally this season, with national games ticketed to FOX Sports 1, FOX Sports Net, CBS Sports Network, ESPN and NBC. The Conference USA Championship game is on Saturday, Dec. 6 and will be carried on either ESPN or ESPN2.
