Coronado tops Franklin in Battle of the West Side, 52-29

ELPASO, Texas (KVIA) -- The Coronado Thunderbirds top the Franklin Cougars 52-29 to advance to second in District 1-6A standings on Tuesday.

Both teams were standing at 3-1 in District play but the Thunderbirds win over Franklin now puts them in second with a 4-1 record, right below Eastlake who is 6-0 in 6A.

Up next, Coronado will face Pebble Hills on Friday at 7:30p.m. at Pebble Hills.
