Texas Dept. of Transportation will not close freeway this weekend
The Texas Department of Transportation will not close Interstate 10 between Sunland Park Drive and Porfirio Diaz this weekend.
TxDoT made the announcement early Friday morning via Twitter.
The closure is postponed until August 24.
This is the second time TxDoT reschedules the closure on the freeway for construction of Spur 1966.
Last week, it decided not close I-10 because of rainy weather conditions.
On Sunday, August 24 the freeway is expected to close at noon until Monday at 5 a.m.
