Semi-truck carrying produce flips over in northeast El Paso
A man is in the hospital after an 18-wheeler flipped over in northeast El Paso Wednesday morning.
It happened shortly before 5 a.m. at Marshall Road and Fred Wilson Avenue, underneath Spur 601.
Access to Fred Wilson Ave. from the eastbound Marshall exit and Railroad Drive southbound was blocked off by police.
Emergency dispatch confirmed one man was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
ABC-7 spoke with the tow truck operator who said the 18-wheeler was carrying frozen produce to Fort Bliss. He said it would take four to five hours to get the truck right side up.
No other vehicles were involved.
