Local law enforcement
Law enforcement in the El Paso area will partner together for a DWI Spring Break Operation.
The operation will take place from 8 p.m. Friday through 4 a.m. March 23.
The El Paso Police Department’s DWI Task Force, El Paso County Sheriff’s Office, and the Department of Public Safety will all be involved in the operation.
There have been four traffic fatalities that have occurred in 2013 and of those three are believed to have involved alcohol. During this same time period in 2012 there were nine recorded traffic related deaths and four of those involved alcohol.
