IDEA Public Schools Horizon Vista welcomes first senior class

IDEA Public Schools kicked off the school year this week and Good Morning El Paso joins them Friday morning at their Horizon Vista College Prep campus.

This school year, the campus makes history by welcoming its first 12th grade class. 

IDEA welcomes back nearly 6,000 students for the upcoming 2026-27 school year at 10 schools across the El Paso area. 

IDEA Horizon Vista first opened in 2020, offering grades K-2 in academy and 6th at college prep, adding a grade level each year until fully scaled k-12.

Now this year, they have their first senior class. 

This Class of 2027 will fulfill IDEA's mission of going to and through college. 

Commemorating the senior class on Friday, they hosted a "Senior Sunrise" event with breakfast and music outside.
