ABC-7 StormTrack Weather: Tracking a hot and dry pattern this weekend

We are tracking a nice and cooler day today in the Borderland. Today's forecasted high is 97. After early morning storms swept through El Paso, we will see a dry pattern this weekend.

It will warm up this week into the triple digits... again. This is above normal for this time of the year.

A high pressure system is sitting over the Four Corners of America which is funneling in very dry air over the Borderland. Most of our storm activity will be limited to the mountains daily until the middle of the week next week.
