1 hospitalized after South-Central El Paso fire

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- One person was hospitalized after a fire in South-Central El Paso, according to the El Paso Fire Department. EPFD said it happened at a one-story commercial building.

The fire was reported at 9:31 a.m. Monday, according to the fire department. Crews controlled it within 24 minutes.

EPFD said one person was found, treated and sent to the hospital with serious injuries.

No other injuries were reported.

EPFD said the cause is under investigation.
