Hunt School of Dental Medicine welcomes Class of 2030

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA)-- The Hunt School of Dental Medicine welcomed the Class of 2030 with a white coat ceremony Saturday morning.

The school says 60 new students will train to serve patients and improve access to oral healthcare across the region. The school emphasizes a hands on approach, and students begin treating patients in their first semester under the supervision of professors.

Several students grew up in the borderland and said they want to stay to give back to the community.
