Authorities seek help identifying driver of hit-and-run that left man seriously injured

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- Crime Stoppers of El Paso and the El Paso Police Department are asking for the community's help to find the driver responsible for a serious crash that left a man seriously injured.

On Saturday, August 8th, at 2:48 A.M., a 26-year-old man was changing a tire on the shoulder of I-10 East near Airway, and officials say that is when a pickup truck hit the victim and fled the scene.

Officials say the victim was critically injured and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Investigators found that the vehicle involved is a white 2001 Dodge Ram, single-cab pickup truck with a black liftgate.  The truck has damage to the right front side, including a broken headlight.
