ABC-7 FIRST ALERT: Tracking a windy Sunday night in the Borderland with a slight chance of rain

Happy and Blessed Sunday to the Borderland! Our ABC-7 First Alert continues for a windy evening ahead of a powerful Pacific Cold Front. Most of this Sunday will be nice... highs in the 70s and tonight's temps will be in the 50s/60s.

There is a slight chance for isolated showers and thunderstorms. Most of the action will be to the west and north of El Paso and Las Cruces. Later this evening, the Borderland will see wind gusts around approximately 40 mph until Monday morning.

The Pacific Cold Front will arrive Monday evening and by Tuesday, highs will be in the 60s/70s and lows in the 40s. After the front, it will be nice and quiet!
