El Paso, TX (KVIA-TV)-Introducing The Painted Velvets, a band made up of young and enthusiastic members who are showing that great music knows no age limit.

The group consists of Julia Terrazas (13), Roberto Rodriguez Jr. (10), Antonella Nuñez (14), and Jackie Rubalcava (13), and combines piano, guitar, bass, drums, and vocals in order to produce its own unique sound.

Julia began playing the piano at the age of seven and picked up the guitar when she was twelve. Initially it had been her wish to do something special, but it soon developed into a passion for expressing herself through music. Her ambition was to perform at The O2 Arena.
Since he was six years old, Roberto has been playing the drums. What began as a hobby has become a genuine love of making music from scratch. Apart from music, his dream is to travel and visit all fifty states.

She started playing the guitar when she was twelve and more recently has taken up the bass as well. Because she has a deep admiration for rock, she enjoys the freedom, expression, and happiness that music provides. Her aim is to keep playing music for ever and to continue writing new songs.
She has been singing since she was four years old, and the childhood aspiration she had of sounding like a Disney princess has developed into a genuine desire to connect with people using her voice. At present, her aim is to share her voice with the world.

The Painted Velvets are bringing fresh energy, creativity, and passion to their performances. They are not only playing music but are also discovering their own sound, writing their own story, and having big dreams.
