ABC-7 First Alert: Storm threat continues!

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- We remain under an ABC-7 First alert as storm threat continues through our region.

The National Weather Service has issued a weather alert ahead of tonights storms for portions of new Mexico including Las Cruces and Doña Ana County:

This morning we woke to rainfall and temps in the 70s. Rainfall will continue to settle through your morning hours leaving us with a calm start to your afternoon. By mid-afternoon storm chances return at 40% that will continue through your dinner time and into your early morning Thursday.

For your afternoon highs El Paso is expected to reach a high of 94 and Las Cruces a high of 91.
