International Bar in Downtown El Paso to close

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- According to a social media post posted Saturday afternoon by International Bar, the bar will close its doors on September 27.

In the post, the bar released the following to the El Paso community:

"After a decade in business, we will be closing International on September 27th. We won't forget the memories created here by our staff and you, our loyal, supportive customers. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of every moment you celebrated with us, including weekends, weddings, graduations, concerts, holiday gatherings, and more.

From the bottom of our hearts, we want to thank everyone who made International what it was! We had a pleasure serving you. Come say your last goodbyes as we end this chapter. Cheers!"

The bar is located in Downtown El Paso at 114 E Mills Ave A.

ABC-7 previously reported on the way International adapted to the City of El Paso's noise ordinance by hosting "Silent Disco" in the venue's outdoor space.
