ABC-7 First Alert: Severe storm risk continues with Flood watch in effect

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- We remain under an ABC-7 First Alert for storm risk through the region.

A weather alert has been issued by the National Weather Service for El Paso County:

And Doña Ana County:

We woke this morning to steady downpour after yesterdays severe storms. Rainfall is expected to remain through at least early evening. Rain chances are still elevated today at 50-60%.

Temperatures were also a bit cooler to start this morning in the 60s. Overall temperatures will be cooler today. El Paso is expected to reach a high of 71, Las Cruces 79.
