The Power Within: Women Shaping the Future — EPCW Hosts Inaugural Women’s Conference
El Paso, TX (KVIA-TV)-The El Paso Commission for Women (EPCW) will host its inaugural Women’s Conference, “The Power Within: Women Shaping the Future,” on Saturday, October 17,
At the EPCC Administrative Service Center Auditorium, 9050 Viscount Blvd., El Paso, TX 79925, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in 2026.
The conference, with its theme "Inspire. Empower. Connect. Lead. Together We Rise", will gather women from all parts of the El Paso community for a day of practical guidance.
There is a professional connection and a shared purpose; the event represents the first instance in which the Commission—having devoted four decades to advocating for and recognizing women in El Paso—has held a conference of this magnitude for the community it serves.

Campus Closet Donation Drive
People are welcome to donate gently used business clothing to the Campus Closet during the conference. Making such donations will help in filling the closet with professional attire for individuals.

Nominations Now Open: 2027 Hall of Fame
The El Paso Commission for Women is also now accepting nominations for the 2027 Women’s Hall of Fame, honoring women whose contributions in civic leadership, education, professional
The El Paso community has been greatly influenced by their careers and military service, with the Hall of Fame induction taking place on April 3, 2027, and nominations having to be submitted by December 2026. The Power Within: Women Shaping the Future continues this legacy by providing El Paso women with a common platform on which to develop their skills, develop relationships, and build upon each other's momentum.
