EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- Today conditions will lean breezy to windy. This comes along with cooler temps.

We woke this morning to some strong wind gusts coming from our east. Winds are elevated and temperatures are cooler. This is as a backdoor cold front pushes through and leaves us with below average temps for today. Expect breezy to windy conditions to remain throughout your Friday evening.

Temperatures to start were in the 50-60s. El Paso is expected to reach a high 73, Las Cruces is expected to reach a high of 71.

Today we will remain mostly dry as rain chances remain at 0-10% through the weekend.
