EL PASO, Texas - The UTEP Miners will host the Nevada Wolf Pack Saturday in what will be the team's Mountain West Conference home opener.

The Miners enter Saturday's game with a 1-4 record, 0-1 in conference play.

UTEP is also on a three game losing skid, so they're hoping they can turn their season around in front of the home crowd.

Kickoff is at 5 p.m. from the Sun Bowl.

ABC-7 spoke with head coach Scotty Walden about his team's preparation for the Wolf Pack.
