Oct. 2014 story: Fort Bliss’ garrison commander under investigation
A top Fort Bliss official has been removed from his post.
The post’s spokesman, Lt. Col. Lee Peters confirmed Garrison Commander Col. Thomas Munsey has been suspended.
“Col. Thomas Munsey has been suspended of his duties for alleged conduct pending the outcome of an investigation. It is our policy to not comment on ongoing investigations. No additional information or details are available,” said Peters in a statement.
Col. Munsey was assigned to Fort Bliss June 20.
He was responsible for the development and maintenance of the post, its buildings and services.
