UTEP wins homecoming game
The Miner football team defeated Old Dominion in its Centennial homecoming game .
UTEP never trailed after taking a 21-7 lead but had to stop a second half rally by by the Monarchs.
Down 28-14, Old Dominion battled back to tie the game before UTEP scored a couple of late touchdowns.
A couple of key plays helped the Monarchs catch up during the second half but it wasn’t enough to beat the Miners.
The Miners took home with win with a final score of 42 to 35.
