Downtown construction update: Santa Fe bridge reopens early, work continues on Kansas St.
After weeks of being closed, the Santa Fe Street bridge reopened Monday — earlier than expected.
That means drivers can travel between Franklin and Main in Downtown El Paso.
Construction crews worked through the weekend to complete the reconstruction of the bridge.
Construction continues elsewhere in Downtown. Kansas Street between Franklin Avenue and Main Street is closed and will remain closed for the next three months.
